  My father was born to Willie Roy Gabbert's sister and was adopted by them when he was about 2 years old (they were unable to have children of their own) thus my Sackett connection. [Joyce Sackett] ------ Research by Kari Roehl indicates that Charles was the son of Maime Bell Gabbert and a Mr. Robinson. Mabel is listed as a widow, in the household of her father in the 1920 census with three Robinson children; Mabel age 5, Paul age 4 and Charles age 1 1/12. The 1920 census for the household of William and Willie Gabbert Sackett has no children listed. In the 1930 census, Charles is listed as a child in William Sackett's household. ----- Charles had one child, sex unknown, ??? Sackett, b. 1946.
