Kenneth N. Anderson, 79, of MH
A memorial service will be later for Kenneth N. Anderson of Mountain Home. Mr. Anderson died Friday (Feb. 23, 2001) at his residence. He was 79.
He was born July 10, 1921, at Omaha, Neb., to the late Duncan McDonald and Letitia Steed Anderson. He was a World War II military veteran. He married Lois Harmon on Jan. 12, 1945, at Omaha. He was a writer and editor of many books and magazines. He lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Katonah, N.Y. He was a member of Alley White American Legion Post 52. Mr. Anderson enjoyed his work and animals.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Anderson of the home; sons, Eric Anderson and wife, Carmalena, of Pleasantville, N.Y., and Douglas Anderson of Rochester, N.Y.; daughters Randi Bender of Hyattsville, Md., and Janni Anderson and husband, Gordon Linzner of New York; granddaughters, Rebecca Coleman of Maryland and Robyn Linzner of New York; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Heidi; and a sister.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
