Judge Ayers yesterday granted two decrees of divorce, the first in the case of Ida Curran agains J. G. Curran, cruel treatment and failure to provide being the grounds, while the second was granted in the case of Hattie Huxtable against Elmer L. 9sic) Huxtable, upon the same grounds.

COURT NEWS
Mrs. Hattie Huxtable Thursday brought suit against Elmer Ellsworth Huxtable to secure a divorce on the grounds of extreme cruelty, desertion and failure to provide. The parties were married at Monticello, Iowa, in 1891, and among the instances of cruel treatment cited is one which last year resulted in the man's arrest on threats to kill her with a rifle. John J. Jewell in the plaintiff's attorney.
