      MALCOLM, Lucille widow of the late Justice George A. Malcolm, died in Los Angeles on January 13, 1992. Educated as a teacher in the State of Washington, she taught grades 1 through 12 in the Seattle school System for 9 years.

      Mrs. Malcolm and her husband met on a world cruise in 1932, and they were married shortly thereafter in Manila. Mrs. Malcolm accompanied her husband, when he left the Philippines in 1940 and thereafter became Attorney General of Puerto Rico. Following his retirement in 1944, the couple lived in Hollywood, California.

      The late Justice Malcolm was the founder of the College of Law of the University of the Philippines and served as a member of the Supreme Court of the Philippines for 17 years.

      Mrs. Malcolm is survived by her daughter, Mary M. Leydorf M.D.: son-in-law, Fred L. Leydorf: and five grandchildren: Robert, William, Thomas and Deborah Leydorf and Katherine Dustin and her husband, Frank.

      Private cryptside services were held on January 16, 1992 at Forest Lawn Glendale, Forest Lawn mortuary.
