      Chester A. Archer

      CUSTER -- Services are pending for Chester A. Archer, 60, who died Monday at Custer Community Hospital.

      Archer was born Aug. 4, 1908 at Tiflord. He married Thelma Peltz Nov. 28, 193S and they came to Custer in 1936. Archer was employed by Black Hills Power and Light for 28 years.

      Survivors include his widow, mother, Mrs. Coar Archer, Rapid City; one daughter, Mrs. James (Yvonne) Bonser, Rockford, Ill.; two brothers. Floyd Archer, Rapid City, and Virgil Archer, Morol, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Milton Schnigar, Redding, Calif., and three grandchildren.

      McColley Funeral Home in Custer is in charge of arrangements.
