      Muriel married Thomas Snay 31 May 1934 in Port Huron, Michigan; they were the parents of two daughters including Sally Snay Wyllie who is also buried in Caswell Cemetery. After Thomas Snay's death, she married Karl Ramsey Oct 1979. Muriel died in River District Hospital, East China Township, St. Clair County, Michigan.

      Muriel was a school teacher with many educational credits. She was Valedictorian of Marysville (Michigan) High School in June, 1927; earned a Life Teaching certificate from Central State Teachers College (Central Michigan University) 1931; Bachelors Degree from Wayne State University 1957; and Master of Arts in Elementary Education from University of South Alabama 1971. She taught at various places, from one-room country schools to the Naval Communication Station Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands; Yokosuka Naval Station, Japan, and Quantico Marine Base in Virginia.
