Miss Louise Pearson, Richard Sackett Wed

The marriage of Miss Louise Pearson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Pearson, of Gordo, to Richard Sackett, of Monroe, La., was solemnized Dec. 24 in the parlor of the Methodist parsonage in Columbus, Miss. The pastor of the First Methodist Church of that city was the officiating minister.

The nuptial vows were pledged before an assemblage of relatives and close friends.

Mrs. John E. Crocker, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. Mr. Crocker served as best man.

The bride wore an ensemble of Venetian blue, the full length coat being trimmed in red fox. Her picture hat was in the same shade of blue. Her accessories were in navy.

The bride is a graduate of Gordo High School.

The bridegroom is a resident of Monroe, La. He attended the University of Oklahoma.

Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. Sackett and his bride left for a wedding trip to points along the Gulf Coast, after which they will be at home in Kosciusko.
