Transfer of Ownership, Indianapolis Motor Speedway

After WW I, former race car diver and WW I Ace Eddie Rickenbacker bought the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In 1945, Rickenbacker sold the track to Tony Hulman. Theodore E. "Pop" Myers (the image caption incorrectly spells his surname) is standing at left. Rickenbacker has pen in hand at center. Tony Hulman is in lower left, and driver Wilbur Shaw is lower right. Standing at right is Joe Cloutier, who was executive vice=president and treasurer of the Speedway from 1945 until 1977 when, upon the death of Hulman, he became president of the speedway.
