      Obit: Mrs. M. G. Steed
      Mrs. Carrie Dell Steed, 85, of West Bomford Street, Richwood, died in Memorial Hospital at Marysville at 6 a.m., Friday, March 12. She suffered a severe heart attack at her home, three hours before her death.

      Born December 17, 1868 in Lawrence County, Ohio, she was a daughter of John and Ellen Brown Neal. August 19, 1886, she was united in marriage to Millard G. Steed, at Proctorville. Mrs. Steed was a member of First Methodist Church in Richwood.

      Surviving is the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Miller, of Radnor; and Mrs. Edith Bryant, of Big Prairie; a son, ALva, of Ashley; a sister, Mrs. S. R. Brookover, of Marion; a brother, Roscoe Neal, of Ironton; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Winter Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Lawrence Mann. Burial in charge of Marion Winter was made in Shoup cemetery in Thompson Township.
