Frank Eliot, age 84, of San Antonio, went to be with his Lord on October 22, 2016. He was born August 10, 1932 to Lloyd Elliott and Marian Beasmer Elliott in Middlebury, Vermont. He spent his early years on a dairy farm in Vermont, then entered the US Army at age 18. After his discharge in 1953, he worked his way through various jobs across the country, including tug boat mechanic, gas station owner in Poughkeepsie, NY and truck driver in St. Petersburg, FL. He settled in San Antonio, TX and worked for the City of Windcrest as a Parks Department supervisor and Animal Control Officer, retiring after 16 years.
Frank was predeceased by sons Kevin and Dale Elliott, and is survived by son Gary Elliott and daughters Linda Ginnochio, Patricia Johnson, Debbieann Sackett, and Christine Eliot. He is also survived by his life partner of 24 years, Robin Santos. No services are planned, but his friends may toast the man who loved to laugh with a glass of his favorite blackberry brandy.
