Mrs. Gertrude L. Denoon
Mrs. Gertrude L. Denoon, 73, of 15 Temple street, widow of George Denoon, Jr., died at Springfield hospital Sunday night. She was born December 18, 1872, at Northampton, the daughter of Frederick A. and Laura (Bassett) Sackett and had lived in this city for the past 47 years. She was a member of the Baptist church of West Springfield. Mrs. Denoon leaves two brothers, Herbert R. Sackett and Jacob R. Sackett, both of this city; four nephews, Frederick R. Sackett of Keyport, N. J., Edward Blodgett of this city, Richard R. Sackett of this city, and Herbert Sackett of Bethlehem, Pa., and on niece, Mrs. Allen Creed of this city. Private funeral services will be held at the Dickinson-Streeter parlors this afternoon at 2. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

The H. Stanley Sacketts Parents of Son
A son, Peter Hood was born to Mr. and Mrs. H. Stanley Sackett, 1150 Allen St., at 12:21 o'clock Sunday morning, Feb. 16, at the Delaware county hospital, Drexel Hill, Fa.
Mrs. Harold Miller of 1150 Allen St., is grandmother for the first time. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Sackett of Springfield, Mass, are the paternal grandparents, Mrs. George Young of Manwah, N. J., is maternal great-grandmother. Mrs. Sackett is the former Jane Miller. Mr. Sackett is connected with the Cast Metal Mfg. Co., Bath.

HERBERT R. SACKETT
NORTHAMPTON--Herbert R. Sackett, 84, of Old Braddock Rd., Frederick, Md., a native of this city, died Friday at a rest home in Braddock Heights, Md. He was a retired salesman and son of the late Frederick and Lora (sic) (Bassett) Sackett. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bertha (Hood) Sackett; two children, H. Stanley Sackett of Falls Church, Va., and Mrs. Allan Creed of Old Braddock Rd., with whom he resided; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 2 at the M. R. Etchison and Son funeral home, 106 East Church St., Frederick. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the Frederick County (Va.) Cancer Society.
