Hannahv (sic) Taylor
MAPLETON -- Hannahv (sic) Sackett Tavlor, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1982 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.
She was born Nov. 10, 1900 at Tucker to Edward W. and Amelia Powell Sackett. She married Argle Lee Taylor on Nov 26, 1920 in Provo.
As an active member in the LDS Church she served as Relief Society work director. She was active with the Red Cross and 4-H programs. She was a girl scout leader and a member of the Lady Lions for about 30 years.
She lived in many communities and was dedicated to serving friends and neighbors with homemaking and sewing skills. She touched the lives of those around her as a teacher and friends. Survivors include her husband of Mapleton; two daughters,
Mrs. Thurlyn (Catherine) Christensen, Kearns; Mrs. Afton T. Blurton, Redding, Calif.; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one brother, Alma Sackett, Layton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary Chapel, 495 S. State, Orem, where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.

EDWARD W SACKETT
PAYETTE (Special) -- Funeral services were held Sunday morning at the Peterson-Foster Funeral home for Edward W. Sackett who died of a heart attack early Saturday at his home south of Payette on the Fruitland bench. Elder Franklin J. Peterson of the L. D. S. church officiated with Herbert Preston as principal speaker. The body was sent to Spanish Fork, Utah, for burial.
Mr. Sackett was born November 29, 1867, at Spring Grove, Minn. He moved here two years ago and bought an apple orchard on the Fruitland bench. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Pass Sackett; three sons at the home, A. LeRoy, Lawrence R., and Ernest G. Sackett; and four daughters and two sons by a former marriage: Mrs. Clarence Bowers and Mrs. Shelby Riches, both of Nephi, Utah; Mrs. Joseph Sackett, Thistle, Utah; and Mrs. Argle L. Taylor, Panquitch, Utah; and Alma and Clifford Sackett; five brothers, Arthur, Thistle, Utah; Franklin, Pocatello, Idaho; George, Fairfax, Okla.; LeRoy, Hackensach, Minn., and Vernon, Independence, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Luella Mastrom of Hackensach, Minn.

Nephi Woman Dies In Accident Near Payson
PAYSON -- A Nephi woman was killed Tuesday afternoon a few miles north of Payson when her car slammed into a parked truck on the edge of 1-15.
The Utah Highway Patrol said the victim, Lillian Sackett Sandall, 68, Nephi, was traveling north when she apparently lost control of the vehicle. It swerved off the road and hit a pickup truck parked in the emergency lane.
Her grandson, Scott Johnson, 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark F. Johnson, 3049 W. 10755 South, Jordan, was the only passenger in the car. He suffered minor lacerations, bruises and abrasions. He was treated and released from Payson Hospital.
The owner of the parked truck was Adrian Finch of Goshen.
Mrs. Sandall, was born Dec. 13, 1902, in Tucker, Utah County, a daughter of Edward and Edith Amelia Powell Sackett. She married Leander Hill and he later died. She then married Shtlby M. Richen and he died in 1943. She then married Dan Madsen, and they were later divorced. Then she married Walter Sandall in Las Vegas, Nev., in 19G5.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband. Nephi: One son. Glenn Hill, Pleasant Grove; two daughter, Mrs. Lucille Brannon, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Foster (Shirley) Johnson, South Jordan; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Dale Sandall, Bakersfield; Mrs. Lois M. Emms, Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters, Elmer Sackett, Layton; Roy Sackett, Garden Grove, Calif.; Lawrence Sackett, California; Mrs. Hanavah Taylor, Orem; Mrs. Lydia Bowers, Nephi.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Nephi Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery.

Argle Lee Taylor
Argle Lee Taylor, 90, Mapleton, died Tuesday, Sept 27, 1988 in Bennion.
He was born Sept. 9, 1898 in Moroni, a son of Norman Lee and Emily Christensen Taylor. He married Hannah Sackett Nov. 26, 1920 in Provo. She died Dec. 26, 1982.
He worked as assistant supervisor of the Uintah National Forest in Provo and the Fish Lake National Forest at Richfield and as supervisor of Ashley National Forest at Vernal, and Powell National Forest at Panguitch.
After his retirement from the forest service, he became an instructor in range management at Brigham Young University. In addition to his love for the Forest Service, he took great pride in the fruit he grew in Orem.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thurlyn (Catherine) Christensen, West Valley City; Mrs. Afton Blurton, Redding, Calif.; one brother Floyd Taylor, Pleasant Grove; two sisters, Edna Coats, Moroni; Mrs. Macel Stewart, Salt Lake City; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral was Friday in Orem. Burial in the Orem City Cemetery, where military rites were conducted by VFW Dist. 4.
