Mrs. Flora C. Sackett
Grand Army Home at King, Wis.
Formerly of New London
Age 93, died in King, Wis. Saturday after a lingering illness. She was born February 15, 1882 in the Township of DuPont. Survivors include four sons, Harvey of the Town of Menasha, Claude of Marquette, Michigan, William of Kaukauna, Earl of Stevens Point; two daughters, Mrs. Garna Garren of Golden, Colorado, Mrs. Adelia Gibbs of LeHigh Acres, Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery. The Misters, Kelvin Neas and Carl Oman will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Olson Hall Chapel, King. Burial will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home at Waupaca, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Merkley-Sackett
At 11 o'clock this morning, Justice of the Peace George Frazer, Grand Chute, read the wedding ceremony for the marriage of Miss Mildred L. Merkley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J, Merkley, 128 E. Forest avenue, Neenah, and Harvey A. Sackett, 600 W. College avenue, son of Mrs. A. Sackett, route 1, Menasha. Miss Ruth Backus, Neenah, and Al Breitrich were the only attendants.
A wedding dinner was served at the Melody Bar on Highway 47 after which the couple left on a wedding trip. Mr. Sackett and his bride will make their home on route 1, Menasha. He is owner of the Empire bar in Appleton. His bride is a graduate of the Mercy hospital school of nursing at Oshkosh.
