Eleanor Rose (Webb) Sackett, 92, of McLean County Nursing Home, 901 N. Main St., Normal, died at 10:35 p.m. Sunday (June 16, 1996) at St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers, the Rev. William Vincent Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation. Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Danvers, has charge of arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Florene Fisher, Houston, Texas; one son, John Sackett; one sister, Ivy Crow, Pekin; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Among the grandchildren is Joni Sackett Austin of Bloomington, who is assisting with funeral arrangements.
She was born April 14, 1904, in Shardlew, England, to George and Harriet Webb. She married Paul Sackett Dec. 25, 1922, in Rantoul. He died April 4, 1959. One son, four brothers and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Rantoul.

Paul Sackett
The funeral for Paul A. Sackett of 706 E. Jefferson St. will be held at 3 p. m. Monday at the Beck Memorial Home. The Rev. John Houdesel will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery at Danvers.
Mr. Sackett, 64, died Friday night at his home after a long illness. He was a barber at the Williamson Barber Shop, 309 S. Main St.
Mr. Sackett was born March 18, 1895, in Colfax, a son of George and Zolia Freed Sackett. He married Eleanor Rose Webb Dec. 25, 1922, in Danvers.
Surviving are his wife, at home, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Fisher, Columbia, S. C; two sons, Walter, R. R. 4; John, stationed at Potuxent River Naval Base, Md.; two stepsons, Robert Simmons, Clinton; James Simmons, Worth; a half brother, Floyd Freed, Chad-dron, Neb., and six grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Colfax Methodist Church.

Walter L. Sackett, 60, of 1305 S. Hinshaw Ave., s Bloomington, died at 4:26 p.m. Monday (May 16, 1994) at his residence. He had been ill.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers, with the Rev. William S. Vincent Jr. officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Danvers, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sackett was born Sept 13, 1933, in Colfax, the son of Paul and Eleanor R. Webb Sackett.
Survivors include his mother, 101 E. MacArthur St, Bloomington; a daughter, Joni Austin, 1311 S. Hinshaw Ave., Bloomington; a brother, John; a sister, Florence Fischer, Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
His father preceded him in death.
A Navy veteran from 1951 to 1954, he was a retired body shop owner and a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge and Bloomington American Legion.
