Mrs. Selena M. Kuder
Funeral services for Mrs. Selena M. Kuder, 85, a 76-year Spokane resident who died in a local hospital Thursday, will be at 11:30 this morning at Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Clayton Dilworth will officiate.
Mrs. Kuder had been in good health until she was burned in a grease fire Dec. 22 at her home, W813 Thirteenth. She had partially recovered from the burns at the time of her death, relatives reported.
She came to Spokane shortly after the 1889 fire and was a member of the first class at Irving School when it opened in 1890. Her husband, Clyde W. Kuder, died here in 1930.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Elaine Palmer, Spokane, Mrs. Mable Lueha, Silverdale, Wash., and Mrs. Gladys Kronkright, Walla Walla; four sons, George W. and Woodrow Kuder, both Spokane, Arthur Kuder, Seattle, and Clyde Kuder, Caldwell, Idaho; 26 grandchildren, 33 great. grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Pope, Walla Walla.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
