Angeline "Angie" Graham, age 74, of Exline, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born on October 19, 1939 in Moulton, Iowa the daughter of William Cleo and Elsie Katheryn (Sleeth) Brookhart.
Angie was united in marriage to Carl R. Graham. She was a inspector for Sears Manufacturing in Davenport, Iowa, and was also the UAW Local 1896 President for many years while in Davenport. Shortly after her retirement, she moved to Exline, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Carl R. Graham on June 23, 1995; Son, Bennie Graham in 1962; brothers, Willard Brookhart, James Brookhart and Kenneth Brookhart, and a sister, Lois Brookhart.
Angie is survived by her sons, Vern Graham and his wife, Lori of Cincinnati, Iowa and Danny Graham of Exline, Iowa, daughter, Laura Shondel and her husband, Virgil of Centerville, Iowa; brothers, Elmer Brookhart of Buffalo, Iowa and Ronnie Brookhart of Centerville, Iowa; sisters, Martha Davis of Exline, Iowa and Connie Brown of Centerville, Iowa; Nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery east of Exline, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2 pm until 8 pm with the family present from 6 till 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to either the Salem Cemetery or to HCI Care Services and may be left or mailed to the funeral home. The Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville has been entrusted with caring for the Graham family at this time.

Carl Graham
Carl R. Graham, 62, Davenport, died Friday, June 23, 1995, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. Services were held today at Schmidt-Duley Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa. Burial was in Salem Cemetery, near Exline, Iowa, with military rites conducted by Centerville American Legion.
A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Graham was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Carl and Aleta Grosbeck Graham. He married Angeline Brookhart in Rock Island.
He 'was employed as a pressman and sheet metal fabricator at J.I. Case/International Harvester tractor plant, East Moline.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Virgil Shondel, Centerville; sons, Roger Lee Graham Spratt and Danny Graham, both of Davenport, and Vernon Graham, Centerville; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Gwenn Hicks, in South Carolina, and Sue Hutchinson, Buffalo, Iowa; and brothers, Doyle and David Graham, both of Davenport, and John Graham, in North Carolina.
