"Chip" Jones, Jr. : Named after President George Washington. After his father's and mother's deaths, went to live with a Mr. and Mrs. Morris at Lake Emily, Wi., from about 1862-1869. Occupation: President - G.W. Jones Lumber Company Religion: Episcopalian "It was in 1874 that I met the Sacketts. As you've heard before, I saw Ella for the first time at a Methodist Church sociable. She was coming down the stairs and she wore a blue dress. I said to myself that same day I was going to ask her to marry me. In six months we were engaged and in Sept. 1876 we were married.
