James Fry
Birth 28 Nov 1843
Death 6 Jan 1877 (aged 33)
Burial
Mount Gilead Cemetery
Carrollton, Greene County, Illinois, USA
Note: information from the booklet, "Cemeteries of Greene County, Illinois", Woodville Township, indicate this is the "son of Geo and Nancy Fry. Stone moved from Fry Cemetery." He was possibly moved to Mt. Gilead Cemetery because his wife, Martha (King) Fry Varble is buried there with her 2nd husband.

However, as another member pointed out: "the George and Nancy I find, were born in 1775 and 1797 respectively?which made me wonder if it isn?t more likely that James? parents were John S. Fry and Amanda Reynolds (m. in Greene County on 9 Jan 1838). On the 1860 census, there is an age appropriate James Fry (with 3 siblings) living with John S. Fry in Greene County. Amanda was likely dead at that census (John Fry remarries on 4 Oct 1860)." ~~ from member #48819091

Charles Fry, age 7 (b. ~1873)
George W. Fry, age 6 (b. ~1874)
Nancy Fry, age 3 (b. ~1877)
