Dorchester Rites Set Car Victim
FORT PIERCE -- Charles S. Dorchester, 77, of North Federal Highway, a winter visitor from East Springfield, Pa., died from injuries received in a Thursday night auto accident at 7th St. and Georgia Ave.
Police said the Dorchester car, going west on Georgia, collided at the intersection with a ear driven by Norris Copeland of 3002 Carver St.
Copeland told police he had a green light.
Mr. Dorchester, a retired school teacher, is survived by his wife, Ivy; four sons, a daughter, and two sisters.
Services and burial will be in East Springfield with the Baird Funeral Home in charge here.
