      EDWARD R. CHILCUTT

      BAY PINES -- Edward Roy Chilcutt, 81, died yesterday. A native of Williamsville, Mo., he moved to 122 Joyland Trailer, Park, Clearwater, 10 years ago from Lewiston, N.Y. He was a retired barber and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Viola Crysler Chilcutt; a son, Booth Chilcutt, Okechenobee; a stepson. William Watkins, Saratoga, Calif.; a brother, Harold Chilcutt, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Norris and Mrs. Edith Carpenter, both of San Diego. He was a veteran of World War I.

      Hospital Administrator Booth Chilcutt Dies

      OKEECHOBEE - Booth Chilcutt, administrator of the Okeechobee Rehabilitation Facility for the past four years, died from a heart attack Tuesday night.

      Chilcutt, 65, served as hospital administrator at Okeechobee General from 1963 to 1969, was administrator at Hendry General Hospital in Clewiston for three years, and also served as Monroe General Hospital administrator in Key West for five and a half years.

      He was a retired lieutenant commander with the Navy.

      "This was a man who devoted his whole life to the service of his country and other people. His community-minded spirit and guidance will be missed by the facility," fellow worker Cliff Erwin said yesterday.

      Chilcutt is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son. His wife, Dorothe (sic), an area-known artist who flew in from Europe, last night, was taking courses toward her Ph.D. in Europe this summer. Funeral arrangements by Okeechobee Funeral Home are incomplete.

      Dorthe Trummer Becomes Bride of Booth Chilcutt

      Announcement is made today by Mrs. Pearl E. Trummer, 1911 Keves ave., of the marriage of her daughter, Dorthe, Chicago, to Booth Chilcutt, son of Mrs. Olive Chilcutt, San Diego, Calif. The ceremony took place Feb. 14 in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kleinert of Madison were the attendants.

      Mrs. Chilcutt was graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1940. Active in campus affairs, she was a member of Phi Omega Pi, Sigma Lambda, Delta Phi Delta, Castalia, and Wisconsin Players. She has been employed as a commercial artist and art director for the De Vry corp. in Chicago. Mr. Chilcutt is in service with the United States navy and is at present on duty at the navy recruiting station in Chicago.
