EVANSDALE -- Glen Peters Jr., 52, of Evansdale, died at home Aug 11 of natural causes.
He was born July 4, 1954, in Waterloo, son of Glen and Alice L Call Peters Sr.
Survivors include: his mother of Waterloo; and a sister, Jane (Steve) Blough of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: his father. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the Glen Peters Jr. chapel The body will not be present.
Memorials: may be directed the First Reformed Church, Evansdale

EVANSDALE - Glen Peters Jr., 52, of Evansdale, died at home Aug. 11 of natural causes.
He was born July 4, 1954, in Waterloo, son of Glen and Alice L. Call Peters Sr.
Survivors include his mother of Waterloo; and a sister, Jane (Steve) Blough of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the chapel. The body will not be present.

Glen Peters Sr., 73, of 7023 Osage Road, died
Tuesday, March 10. of natural causes at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1918, in Clutier, son of Louis and Minnie Sackett Peters. He married Alice Lucille Call on Jan. 20, 1942, in Los Angeles.
Mr. Peters served with the U.S. Army in the AsiaticPacific Theater Campaign during World War II, then owned and operated Evansdale Radiator Repair for 25 years before retiring in 1975.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Jr. of Evansdaie; a daughter, Jane Ann Blough of Waterloo; two grandchildren; and a brother, Carl of Hudson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Reformed Church, Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, then an hour before services at the church.
Memorials may be given to First Reformed Church in Evansdale.

Alice L. Peters
Alice L Peters (1920-2008)
WATERLOO -- Alice L. Peters, 87, of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb. 4, at the Western Home Martin Center of natural causes.
She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Oran, daughter of Frank and Lillie Bennett Call. She married Glen Peters on Jan. 20, 1942, in Los Angeles. He died March 10, 1992.
Mrs. Peters was employed at Montgomery Ward as the manager of the drapery department for 23 years, retiring in 1980. She was a charter member of Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include: a daughter, Jane (Steve) Alice Peters Blough of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Kelly (Mark) Cox of Liberty, Ind., and Barry (Karen) Blough of Cedar Falls; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Blough and Natalie Cox; a sister, Lu Etta Mae Boren of Manchester; and numerous numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by: her parents; a son, Glen Jr.; and two brothers, Clarence and Laverne Call.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Reformed Church of Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Garden View Chapel Chapel and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
Memorials: may be directed to the church.
