      Hiebsch, Vena Condit, 89, was born in Liberal, KS on January 1, 1922, left the present world to go Home to the Lord on June 3, 2011. Raised on a farm east of Liberal, KS; graduated from Liberal High; graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, 1945, while husband was in the Navy during WWII. Lived in west Wichita, 1958 to 2010, when husband of 67 years passed away; thereupon moved to Via Christi Village. She treasured each child, grandchild and great-grandchild, and her friends. She was a strong Christian woman that loved attending Bible study, for years was involved in Bible Study Fellowship. A Lifelong member of the Methodist Church and loved the people at Asbury and Aldersgate. An excellent seamstress and truly understood the art of cooking. Loved reading, especially those about women who overcame adversities. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth H. Hiebsch, parents Parda M. and Juanita Dodd Condit, and six siblings. Survived by 4 children: Marcia Hiebsch, Clif Hiebsch and wife Jeanette, Steve Hiebsch and wife Jimmi, Carl Hiebsch and wife Marilyn, 14 grandchildren: Natali, Troy, Jen, Ryan, Hunter, Tyler, Blaire, Lauren, Cal, Chase, Chandler, Colby, Cade, and Colin; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway and Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7901 W. 21st St. with burial at 2 p.m., in Nichols Cemetery, Zenda, Ks. Gifts to Southwestern College, Winfield, KS or Pregnancy Crisis Center of Wichita in lieu of flowers. To sign a guest book or leave condolences go to
