Sacket Has Splendid Record Qualifying
Him For Office He Seeks In Primaries
Harry S. Sackett has announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for the office of County clerk of this county. Mr Sackett is well known in Malheur county having lived here continuously for the past ten years with the exception of two years during which time he was serving as a volunteer in the Motor Transport Corps of the United States Army and his experience and ability for the duties of the office of County Clerk are generall recognized. When he first came to this county he accepted the position as assistant cashier of the United States National Bank of Vale, Oregon, and since hat time has been Deputy Assessor and Deputy Clerk under both Republicans and Democrats and is at the present time Deputy Clerk of this county.
Harry Sackett has a splendid record, both as an offical and as a soldier and up to the present time no other candicate has been mentioned for the office.
