Arthur Graf
PEORIA - Arthur E. Graf, 88, of Peoria died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria.
He was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Peoria to Albert and Annie Ashton Graf. He married Rosilia Jones in Gloucester, England, in 1944. He later married Dorothy Biddison on Sept. 16, 1967, in Peoria. She preceded him in death on July 23, 1997, in Peoria.
Also preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are his children, Mary (Gary) Hufeld and Cindy Fisher, both of Peoria; his grandchildren, Jeff, Kirt, Brandon, Daniel, Heidi (Kenneth) and Julia (Brad); seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his friends, Phil (Vicky) Scovill of Peoria, Lisa (Ernie) Stephens of Chicago and Eric Scovill of Peoria.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving his nation during World War II.
He worked as a grinder for Caterpillar Inc. and in maintenance at Mount Hawley Country Club.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2009, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. The Rev. Dean Grabill will officiate. There will be no visitation. The Wilton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
