PEORIA - Beatrice "Nadine" Biddison, 84, formerly of Peoria, Ill., passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas, on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.
Nadine was born in Houston, Mo., on Feb. 12, 1928, to John Martin and Effie Belle (Smith) Farley.
Nadine is survived by one daughter, Teresa (John) Allred of Morton, Ill.; one son, Mark (Joan) Biddison of San Antonio, Texas; and one stepson, Harry (Teresa) Biddison of Mapleton, Ill. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was a very loving and devoted wife, mom and grandma to all her family. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
Graveside services were held for her and her husband, Jack, who preceded her in death by 22 days, on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Ensign Biddison
PEORIA - Ensign "Biddi" Biddison, 87, 3502 N. Woodbine Terrace died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at OSF St. Clare Home.
Born Feb. 20, 1918, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Ensign Platt and Olive Lowrance Biddison, he married Ruth L. Simmons on June 2, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Ralph (and Linda) of Peoria; one brother, Jack (and Nadine) of Peoria; two sisters, Ruby Buchner of Peoria and Jaynet (and Jack) Swain of Sun City, Fla.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
He worked for Hiram Walker & Sons for 34 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians, Local 26; Temple Lodge 26 AF&AM, Peoria Consistory; and Mohammed Temple Shrine.
He was past president of the Mohammed Brass Band.
He also organized his own popular dance band under the name of the "Biddie Biddison Orchestra," which was voted the Midwest's most danceable band.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. John King will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Additional visitation will be one hour before services at the mortuary. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
