Mrs. Lora Whitehead, Clinton, Dies In Warner Hospital
Mrs. Lora Lousetta Whitehead, 80, 120 West Jefferson Street, died at 2 p. m. Sunday in John Warner Hospital.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Clinton Christian Church with burial in the Dewitt Cemetery. Rev. Winston Zastrow of Wapella, will officiate.
Her body is at the Herington Funeral home where visitation will begin after 6 p. m. tonight.
Mrs. Whitehead was born at Lane, March 16, 1879, a daughter of George and Martha Lane Gibson and was married to Andrew Whitehead at Lane, February 8, 1906. He died in September, 1933.
Surviving are two foster children, Mrs. Clara Hartsock of Fairbury and Mrs. Louise Kennedy of Chicago; also one brother, Reuben Gibson, rural Clinton and three sisters, Mrs. Irma Jackson, Clinton; Mrs. Mildred Long, Clinton and Mrs. Edith Williams of Clay City.
Mrs. Whitehead was a member of the Lane Christian church.
