      Sacket , David J. 93

      David J. Sacket, 93, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born June 13, 1922, in White Valley, a son of the late Victor and Josephine (Enrico) Sacket. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Overly Manufacturing, Greensburg. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, having served with the Navy. He was a member of the VFW Post 33, Amvets Post 88 of Greensburg and the Eagles Post 844, Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David J. Sacket in 2004; two sisters, Lucille Ferrero and Rose Fredo; and a brother, Pete Sacket. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Daisy I. "Peg" (Weimer) Sacket; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Sacket and his wife, Stella, of Forbes Road, Richard Sacket and his wife, Marion, of Greensburg, and Robert Sacket and his wife, Joan, of Jeannette; a sister-in-law, Grace Weimer; and several nieces and nephews.
