Albert Lee Cooper, 71, of Greenville died Sunday at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is in Tidwell Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home."

"Obituaries, Albert Cooper
Albert Leo Cooper, 71, of Greenville died Sunday at his residence. Funeral services are today at 2 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Combs and Dr. Fred Chambers. Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery.
Son of Alfred Cooper and Agnes Jones he was born Aug. 10, 1926 in Enid, Okla. He married Jean Puckett on Nov. 3, 1962 in the Tidwell Community.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a former E-Systems employee and he taught in the Greenville Independent School District for 29 years. Mr. Cooper was a member ofr the Tidwell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Greenville and a sister, Alzina Preston of Ridgeville, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Buddy Preston.
Pallbearers will be Roy Hogge, Clovis Emerson, Jimmy Williams, Billy Brignon, King B. King and Mike Hogge. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joe King, Harlan Brown, Ernest V. Odeneal and T.K. Morphew."

Obituaries, Jean Cooper
Wanda Jean Cooper was born in the White Rock community on October 8, 1924. She was the daughter of Almer Z. Puckett and Billie Louise Barker Puckett. She married Albert L. Cooper on November 3, 1962 in Hunt County. She retired from First Greenville National Bank as Executive Assistant, serving the bank over 46 years. Mrs. Cooper was a life long member of Tidwell Baptist Church and succeeded her mother as church pianist for many years. Included in her many community activities was weekly piano playing for many Greenville service clubs. She was an animal welfare advocate and supporter of animal rescue.
Survivors include nephews, John Timothy Puckett and wife Diane, Tom Johnson and wife Norma and Barry Johnson and wife Janie; and special friends, Jeff and Jimi Bratt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Billy Jeff Puckett and wife Betty and Marshall Puckett and wife Patti; and nephew Andrew Marshall Puckett.
Services for Wanda Jean Cooper, 94, of Greenville were scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad LaFavers officiating.
