      5234. Col. Jacob Noble, s. of Jacob, was b. in Westfield, Mass., Nov. 28, 1759, and there d. Aug. 2, 1828, ae. 68. He served during the American revolution, for six months, under Capt. Gray, and was in the battle at Stone Arabia. Having taken part with the insurgents in Shays rebellion, he took the oath of allegiance, Mch. 26, 1787.

      He. m. Nov. 29, 1792, Eunice Mosely, b. in Westfield, Oct. 18, 1771, dau. of Azariah and Miriam (Parsons) Mosely. She retained her faculties to a wonderful degree until her death, which occurred Jun 13, 1856, ae. 84.

He resides 1878 in Helena, Montana Ter., and is a commissioner of public instruction for the Territory, and judge of probate for the counties (sic) of Lewis and Clark.

      He m. May 5, 1750, Hannah Sacket, b. in Westfield Oct. 10, 1726, dau. of Joseph and Abigail Sacket. She d. Oct. 13, 1799, ae. 73.
