      ALTON V. SACKETT.

      Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a. m. at Locke Funeral home for Alton V. Sackett, 62, 144 Dearborn street, who died Tuesday at Illinois Central hospital, hospital, Chicago. Death was attributed to complications of asthma.

      He was born Feb. 25, 1887, in Central City. Neb., the son of and Mrs. Orange Sackett. He married Olive Crinklaw, Dec. 1, 1917. at Cedar Falls. They were later divorced.

      He had been an employe of Central railroad from 1911 through 1947. He was a retired conductor. A member of the Masonic lodge, the American legion the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, he made his home a daughter, Mrs. LaVerne Schwake, 144 Dearborn street.

      Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Dickinson, 1123 West Parker street: Mrs. Ray Ackerman, 2208 West Third street, and Ms. Schwake. One brother, Dwight, Washington state, and one sister, Mrs. hazel Young, Council Bluffs, Ia., also survive. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

      The body will be moved to Henry Meyer funeral home. Council Bluffs, for services at 1 p. m. Friday.

      Rev. S. M. Becker, pastor of Lutheran church, will officiate at services at Locke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Council Bluffs cemetery.
