Marriage annoucement from newspaper for Grace Sackett.
Last Sunday morning, January 23rd 1900 was a day in our midst which will be long remembered by our citizens. Mr. Lee L. Baumstark and Miss Grace Sackett; Mr. Crom Ardon and Miss Gertie Baumstark were united in the holy bounds of matrimony at the home of W.S. Sackett on Round Top Rev. J.T. Jones pronouncing the words which made them man and wife.
Mr. Lee L Baumstark hails from the state of Illinois, where he bears an unquestionable reputation for his truthfulness. Since his arrival into the county of Roger Mills and our community he has proven as a an honest upright citizen and a valuable acquisition to Timber Creek Society.
Miss Grace Sackett, is one of the fair maids of old Missouri, she is an energetic, wide-awake young laid of sterling qualities, and no doubt will prove to be a good house keeper and devoted companion.
Mr. Crom Ardon comes from the Lone Star state, and since his arrival to our midst has take him a choice slice of Roger Mills soil, also captured one of the fair sex of Oklahoma. HE is a wide-awake gentlemen and will prove to be a good provider.
Miss Gertie Baumstark is one of the fair maids of Illinois, and since her arrival in our midst have made herself noted by her modes and cheerful disposition, she had not only gained friends by retained them.
The Venture and writer with tehir many friends extend the following congratulation:- as they trudge down the grat tide of life bound by the holy ties of matrimony. We long to hear of them ever propsering thier path ever being strewn with roses, much joy and little sorrow.
