GREAT BEND INVADER - Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sackett of Great Bend recognized this picture of their son, Corp. Jack Sackett, 19, taken on the beach at Tarawa, Nov. 20, and published in a recent issue of The Binghamton Press. Here he is holding his bayoneted rifle in the crook of his arm because of a wounded hand. In letters home since he helped invade the Jap-held island, the Great Bend youth said he was in a rest camp.
