- She was the seventh child of James Earl Sackett and his wife Antoinette Hall Sackett. She was born March 24, 1908, at the Sackett homestead in Sackett's Gulch, Stevens County, near the town of Bossburg. She died at the age of two weeks of a meningocoele, and was buried on the homestead at the north end of the orchard in a small grove of pine trees. Her grave is marked by a mound of native stone topped with a slab of concrete bearing her name. [Andrew P. Sackett, p. 109]
