      Two in Region Die in Service

      While news of the Japs surrender brought joy to many persons yesterday, grief came to two homes in the Rochester area with the news that two more area men had died while serving their country's armed forces. The two reported dead are:

      Lt. David L. Boyce, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyce of Elba, reported killed in China Aug. 2, according to a War Department telegram received yesterday.

      Fireman 1/C Clark Sackett, 33, husband of Burma McDonald Sackett, Avon, reported to have died of disease in the Philippines on July 20. He had been in the Navy a year and a half.
