JONES -- Mrs. Lenna Jones, age 69, long time resident of Hugoton, died August 10, 1943, at her home at Huntsville, Arkansas, where she had resided the past six years. She had been in failing health two years. She was born at Wellington, Kansas, October 11, 1874. She was married November 2, 1892, to Edward C. Jones of Wellington. To this union were born six children. One daughter, Mabel, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband and daughter Hattie of the home, and by four sons, Carl, Merl, Frank and Bruce, and nine grandchildren, all of Hugoton, also by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Daisy Talkenton of Blackwell, Mrs. Bessie Madison and Cecil Robinson, and her stepfather, B. B. Robinson, all of Wellington, Kans. She was a devoted wife and a- kind and loving mother. To do good to others was one of her greatest pleasures. She will be greatly missed all.
