      Virgie Magedanz
      Route 4, New London

      Age 90, passed away Thursday October 25, 1990 at her residence after a lingering illness. She was born June 29, 1900 in Perry County, Kentucky. She had been a resident of New London since 1949 and was employed at the Larsen Company and Hortonville Manufacturing in Hortonville for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, New London, the VFW Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors. She married Columbus Vance in 1916 and Robert Magedanz in 1949. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law: George and Imogene Vance, Sierra Vista, Arizona; Elmo and Lois Vance, Torrance, California; Paul and Shirley Vance, Hortonville; Fred Vance, New London; a daughter, Billie Jo LeBeau, New London; a special grandson, Paul E. Vance, Denver, Colorado; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus in 1974 and Robert in 1972. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 1 a.m. from the Cline Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. David Brice officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 until 9 p.m. and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
